A couple of wall clocks were being decommissioned in the office. Being a tinkerer I knew it'd be a) easy to dismantle b) have a common-or-garden clock mechanism. So I went harvesting and made this.

I hot glued a 1x4 Lego plate centrally on the second hand and trimmed the excess, and took out the gears for the hour and minute hands, now surplus to requirements. It's not strong but, laid down like this, it's got enough poke to gently rotate a minifig, six degrees per second.
